Our New Church Building

A workshop, then a pavilion, then the pavilion walled in as the Tabernacle — and now a finished church house on the same field off Highway 55. Here is how it went up.

What we built

A piece at a time, with our own hands

Calvary outgrew the old building on West End Avenue. In 2017 God provided nineteen acres of wooded pasture adjacent to Highway 55, and we have been building on it ever since.

The pavilion came first, and it carried us through two years of drive-in and open-air services. In 2021 we enclosed it as the Tabernacle, and the congregation moved in for that Christmas season. The church grew by fifty percent in those years.

Then came the church house itself, on the same field: a sanctuary with a steeple, a covered drop-off for the folks who need it, and classrooms for a Sunday School that kept outgrowing its rooms. Come and see it — better yet, come and sit in it on a Sunday.
